Help about online RN to BSN programs

I was wondering about a potential issue with online RN to BSN programs. So I know that we have to check their accreditation. I am concerned about the state issue. So I'm located in southern Ca, does it matter what online program I choose? like let's say I happen to pick an online program and the school says university of Arlington in Texas, would that make me have to do extra double check work to make sure that the program is in accordance to the state of CA accreditation?

Im currently in an ADN program and am searching for online RN to BSN programs. Any guidance/tips are appreciated, thank you
