Help with nutrition homework

Hello I need help. Im taking bio 31 and I'm having some problems with the conversion of vitamins. The class is 3 weeks and it's on line and I don't have a tutor that can belong being that school has ended. I'm reading food labels in nutrition class and I want to know how to turn 35% of iron into the total amount of iron in a product

If an item lists 35% on the nutrition label, that means it is 35% of your daily value needed for iron (usually for a 2000 Calorie diet). You need to figure out what the daily value is for 100% iron needed intake in grams and then multiply that by .35. For the NIH website, the 100% daily value would be 18 milligrams for adults found here - Daily Value Reference of the Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD) . If that's the case, 18 mg * .35 = 6.3 mg.
