Help! Not sure what to do and where

Hi Everyone,

I moved to Chicago to go back to school but things happen. I am desperate to get my RN. I would like to start school ASAP no later than January 2014. Prefer lpn to bsn but will take lpn to RN.Not online. Having a hard time finding a school in Chicago or Chicago area. Schools like Xavier and Chicago State are hard to travel via public transportation not always safe unless someone can help me figure that out?. Having a car and paying rent in chicago is not easy.I am carless. Second I am more than willing to move out of state prefer east coast or texas maybe Seattle area. I have 86 community college credits and several from other universities. I am also having a hard time finding teas exam sites. The places that offer them say for applicants to their colleges only. Not fun. Need advice and help!!! Thanks to anyone that answers!!!

Saint Xavier and Chicago State both have public trans available,as well as Prarie State, not too many choices left for the local area after city colleges, the rest is in the suburbs like Triton,College of Dupage,Ambria College,etc...and may require a pace bus or two lol I was just at Xavier for an event and the campus is real nice! Staff was very helpful. The bus ride was a quiet one,not alot of teenagers as I thought it would have since they were just getting out. If the option of going out of state is there,do you have family already in place or will you be starting new?
