Hello Everyone, im scheduled to take my Nclex PN on January 19th. Currently I have been using the Saunders Book along with the CD. I have just been concentrating on answering questions everyday, reading rationales regardless I get them wrong or right. However, what I've noticed is some lab values are not the same. Exam cram has different lab values from what Saunders has. My question is which normal lab values should I rely on? Exam Cram? Saunders? When answering questions it really throws me off and I dont want to make that simple mistake on my boards cause every questions counts from passing!!!! If you've already taken the boards could you please give me advise on which book should i study normal lab values which could help me from choosing the right answer on the nclex boards! Wish me Luck! Thanks!!!

The range given from one review book to the next does not matter that much because the questions on the exam require you to be able to identify something that is way off. You do not have to have a precise value, just be able to identify the normal range to within a few points on either side. So if the number given is three times the normal range you can recognize that it is three times the normal range.
