Help! i need a precepor

Hi everyone, i just completed my RN nursing program and to complete my clinical hour requirement, i need a preceptor in the Tampa, Fl area. Ive been looking for the last three weeks, no luck. Please if anyone out there is in a position to help and would not mind a hard working, willing to work for free employee, please respond.:nurse:

Is this a prelicensure program or a BSN completion program? If a prelicensure program, I find it unbelievable that the school wouldn't have approved preceptors who work directly with the clinical instructors to provide the clinical experiences required for graduation. If it's a BSN completion program, have you asked the school for resources? My MSN program sent out a list of facilities that had field site agreements on file to all students looking to set up their clinical site.

Hello rose, my school did provide clinical sites for the minimal required hours, however it was explained to me by the schools director that because I am not a nurse (lpn) I need an additional amount of clinical hours. I have the option of finding one on my own or I can wait for them to supply me with one which will only be once a week 12 hours... I need 415 hours. And I won't be able to take exits or site for boards until the hours are complete.
