Published

I have just applied for my first job, I have received a conditional offer. However, I am bricking myself over this medicine management test.

I was was just wondering, if anybody would be able to assist me with answering these questions, or pointing me in the right direct.

Which four things would you do, if a patient refused their medication?

List the 4 main actions you would take if you made a drug error?

If a prescribed drug is unavailable out of hours, name 2 things you would do?

Prior to the administration of a controlled drug, e.g. Diamorphine, name 4 of the main checking procedures before administering?

Thanks for your help in advance

Well done, that's great just some other suggestions

Patient refusing medication:

Does the patient have capacity to make the decision about refusing medication,

Explain the rationale for the drug and risks of not taking it.

Controlled drugs, the check should also include patient ID, any allergies

Great answers, good luck I'm sure you'll do great
