Help, I have to make a quick decision on which school!!!
Ok so I am scheduled to start lpn school on March 26th at Lincoln Tech in NJ. When I graduate I will be carrying about $16000 in student loans. I just got a call today from BCIT, another lpn school, saying that they have some openings in there class that is going to start in May and I did wonderful on their test and they would like to set me up with an interview. Tuition there is approximately $8000 (my mother said she would loan this to me). The problem is the date they want to do the interview is March 26th (my first day of class at LT).
Now I would obviously rather go to BCIT because it is cheaper, closer, and better hours for me. But what happens if I don't get in? Then I have to wait another 3 months to get into the next LT program or a year for BCIT.
I asked the instructor what my chances were and he said he couldn't say yes until I did a personal interview but the fact that I did so well on my test and that I have the tuition up front and the number of calls I've made to his office to see if there were any openings showed that I am a serious student and my chances are very good.
I know this is my decision to make (my husband won't even put in his 2 cents lol) and as I am writing this I feel as though I have already made my decision but would you do?
