Help...graduating and confused

Nurses New Nurse

Hey, I'm new to this site...first post. I need some advice. I live in Nevada and my boyfriend lives in the Sacramento area. I have always loved this area so it's even better that he's there. We've been together for 2 years and have an overall good relationship even though we've been doing a semi-long distance relationship. Anyway, I plan to move up there when I graduate in May and have already applied to California for my licensure. Problem is, he started a police academy which makes our situation of being apart etc., even harder. I haven't dealt with our lack of seeing eachother/talking time and it's been tough. Now I'm in a really scary place not only graduating but starting a new career and moving to a new place. I feel completely unsure about everything. Like I said, we have a good relationship but I'm now getting cold feet. I'm looking for help/opinions for my situation and wonder, worst case, what is the process of obtaining my Nevada license since I have already applied for my initial licensure through California. Any help is appreciated!!!

I have heard there is a glut of new grad nurses in the sactown area...the bay area isn't much better.

I don't have anything useful pertaining to licensure, but I'm in a similar situation. After graduation, I will be relocating to a city about 250 miles away where I know nothing about the healthcare facilities. I'm pretty nervous too, but I know I'm making the right choice. If you're really concerned, perhaps you could work in your city for about 6 months and then make the move. Good luck! :D
