Help finding a job?

I'm a new grad with a license, and I have never worked in the medical field before. I feel like I'm never going to get a job, and I'm starting to get worried that nobody will hire me. Does anybody know where someone like me would fit in this position?? I really don't know what to do! :(

Goodness, where do you live? I'm in NY, and almost every single hospital within a one hour drive of me is hiring - and hiring new grads!

Forget emailing resumes... just show up at the hospital in a suit with resume in hand and ask the front desk where human resources is located. Then go there and physically hand them your resume and ask if there is a nurse recruiter you can talk to... even if she is busy (she will be) she'll at least call you back!

You'll get a job - and if your area is truly saturated, maybe you can commute a bit or even move somewhere - there are states that are offering relocation packages and sign on bonuses for RNs...

Good luck! :nurse:
