Help me figure out how I did............

I took the dreadful exam this morning. As I'm sure many people on this Board have said, I felt fairly confident when I sat down to start the exam. But as soon as the questions started firing at me, all my confidence went right out the window. Right now I honestly feel like I could throw-up, excuse me for saying that.

I took the NCLEX-PN. Started at 9:00am & was done by 10:40am. Got the minimum number of questions, 85, which consisted of: LOTS of teaching & prioritization("who would you see first?", "what would be the 1st thing the nurse should do?", etc), several(~10) select-all-that-apply, several med ?s(of which I was familiar with some), LOTS of infection control, some dietary(I know I got one wrong that I had right in the first 5 questions), how to perform a specific skill. No math questions or other alternate-format questions.

Anyone have an opinion on how I did? If I failed, I'm alright with it & I'll just know what to expect the next time around. Life goes on. But I am trying to remain confident.

If you got 85...i'm pretty confident that you passed. I'm actually waiting for my results today..:uhoh21: I took the NCLEX-RN Thursday and it stopped at 75, i also got priority, delegation, teaching, meds (also that i was familiar with but couldn't remember the specifics), 5-6 select all that apply, some weird questions and infection control. I'm sure you passed (i can be positive for others but not for myself!!! lol). So I'll find out if i passed hopefully soon enough....the wait is killing me though! :uhoh21:

From the type of questions you mention, it's more than likely you passed. The other option is that you were so ill-prepared, did SO poorly, that the computer failed you with the minimum number of questions. If you believe that you were better prepared than that, you probably WERE fine, and now you just need to wait for the official "you passed" message :)
