Help with case study

Have to do case study on the pt that is stranded to bad, not responsive, he is on respirator. He has multiple serious conditions. Where and how to start to start? Do you know any web site that I can use for help?

Since you are doing a case study, it is important to look at these serious conditions that the patient has because they are all going to be important to the nursing care he will need. Your case study always begins with a presentation of the factual data that you have about the patient and his diseases or illnesses. Once you list out the diseases and conditions the patient has, I can give you internet links to treatment guidelines for them. Your nursing interventions will, in part, follow the physician's orders.

Since we already know the patient is bed ridden and on a ventilator, he will have problems that are unique to those conditions, so when you get to the section where you list the nursing care of this patient you will want to address these potential problems, if he doesn't already have some of them.
