so- i'm just now finishing chemistry class this semester, and planning on applying to the may 2012 nursing program. i have a few questions about the program, because i really have been debating whether i should do nursing/ or dental hygienist.
1. i can't get into the microbiology class before the may, is that a problem?
2. is the program ridiculously hard? i've just heard so many negative things about it, and they've scared me silly lol and now i'm afraid i don't have what it takes to get through it.
3. how fast can you get the actual program done? does it take a whole two years?
4. what are some tips for studying for the hesi test? i have to retake the anatomy part... i didn't kow it was going to be on there, so i didn't study for it.
if anybody could help me out that would be awesome, i just moved to florida in january so i don't know anybody that has actually been through the bcc program.

[color=#daa520][color=#8b4513]they typically don't accept anyone who hasn't completed each and every prereq class, but i would still recommend applying. it's a very long wait list and those who have completed all the prerequisites have a better chance of getting in sooner. the program is very hard, you just have to keep focused and dedicate 99% of your time to it. if you are stuck inbetween dental hygiene and nursing, i don't know if nursing would be a good idea for you if you're having thoughts of any other career. once you're accepted it will take exactly two years from your start date to get your rn degree.
