I need some help from my pre-nursing students all over the US. I’m about to start applying to ABSN programs. I live in CA and my stats just aren’t the best for California’s crazy impacted schools. I have about a 3.4 GPA, A’s in A&P I, micro and stats, B in chem, and a C then a withdraw and then an A in A&P II. I also have volunteer experience and a written rec from a professor and a doctor and I’m about to take the TEAS and I’m sure I’ll get a great score. I know there are nursing programs out there somewhere in the US that will accept me! And luckily I have the ability to move to whatever state I need to. Do any of you have any recommendations for programs that you know of in your state that have higher acceptance rates? I know I need to look for more rural areas but I’d love some real recommendations from people who actually know about these programs because I’m going in blind at the moment. Thanks ?
