Help! A few questions!

Published

Hi, okay I am currently enrolled into community college, but i just have a few questions to see which pathway is the fastest to get my BSN.

1. I know that most hospitals and other clinics are striving for there nurses to have a bsn, but what is the chances of me getting a job with my AAS, while still going to school to get my bsn? Like do most doctors offices, and hospitals would understand and still hire a nusre with AAS, knowing they will get there BSN? Like how does that work and whats the chances?

2. Also for that question ^^ I have been looking into Carrington college, they used to be called apollo college, so I know the "new" name has not been around that long, so what does it look like on resumes of that school? Does it look great on applications and resumes? Just want to know how hospitals view that school?

Interesting question indeed. I don't think there is a "fastest"way to get your BSN. I think maybe the shorter amount of time would probably be to jump right into a BSN program as a transfer student since BSN is what is desired. The problem with that is applying directly to a BSN program is it is really competitive unless you have excellent GPA and excellent test score if required. The "slower" way to get your BSN is to do adn first and then do the RN to BSN program.
