Hi, just stumbled across this site by chance whilst trying to get my head around my latest assignment - annotated bibliography... needless to say I am a nursing student, in my 2nd year. Enjoying it so far, though don't know which way to turn first with this assignment - can anybody recommend a specific critique framework thats easy to follow when reading research papers?

I found Diana Hacker to be a wonderful tool for guiding me through writing research papers. Here is her book:

A Writer's Reference 5th Ed. ISBN: 0312397674

I have my children use it for all papers in school as well. It covers everything from proper grammer to MLA and APA format's with examples.
