Hello Everyone

My name is Nakeshia. I just graduated in May from a ADN program in Kansas. I will be 21 this November 2nd. I just happened to be searching around for tips on passing the NCLEX when I found this wonderful site. I have taken the NCLEX-RN twice and unfortunately will have to take it for the 3rd time in the near future. :crying2: I could use the help of all on this site to help me pass this exam and become the nurse I have wanted to be for years.

Drop me a note!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your words of encouragement are greatly appreciated.:D

Hi Carmel and welcome to the board!

Sorry about your nclex experience but I just want to encourage you to hang in there. There are alot of people on this site that have used various programs that helped them pass so hopefully you will get to hear from some of them. One of the first questions that I believe you would be asked though is what were you using to study and how often. I personally, used the Saunders, Lippincott, and Delmar review cd's but more so Saunders and an online review course I had with NCSBN, the one's that put the NCLEX together. All of that combined along with reviewing test taking skills is what helped me. It's important to read rationales b/c it broadens your understanding. I also worked on my anxiety level b/c that also affects your test taking ability. Well, that's my 2 cents, hope I was able to help.
