Handicapped mom

My daughter-in-law is 24 yrs old and has Cerebral Palsy and is for the most part wheelchair bound at this time. 15 months ago she became the mother of a perfect baby boy. My question is...Does anyone know of a chat room just for CP moms. I have searched the internet for the past few months and have come up with nothing. I can't believe she is the ONLY one out there. She is looking for someone(s) to chat/brainstorm with regarding the everyday obstacles of being a handicapped mom.

This is stating the obvious, but has the United Cerebral Palsy (http://www.ece.cmu.edu/~samirs/images/canada.jpg) been of any help?

Two thoughts: Does she receive any services from a department of developmental services. They have different names in different states, but in my state they can provide services to people with cerebral palsy even if there is no degree of cognitive impairment. If so, she should have a service coordinator who might be able to hook her up with local organizations of adults with disabilities. I also found this; I haven't gone through it, so don't know if any of the links are what you're looking for, but it might be worth a shot. http://www.disabilityresources.org/PARENTS-WITH.html
