GWU ABSN Spring 2017

Hello everyone!!!

Thought I start a thread about GWU Accelerated BSN program spring 2017. Hope we can exchange experience in regards to the application process. I just finished NursingCas and got all my materials verified. Now it's a waiting game😬😬😬. Anyone else has applied?

I applied in early June and waiting for an answer....

I submitted my priority application, waiting to hear back. I think it takes about two months from what I've seen to get a decision. Most people who apply priority hear back by Mid-August.

I was told recently that I will be notified by August 1.

Got my email on July 8 stating that my app got referred to the admission committee.

I submitted my application with everything verified and complete through NursingCAS for the VBSN program on June 21. I got an email on July 5 stating that they completed the preliminary review of my application. I hope to hear back soon.

Update,

since its friday and the day GWU notifies the potential applicants I thought I update you guys. It's been two weeks since I got the referral email to the admissions committee and so far no word on the status. Hope to get an email next Friday.

I got an email yesterday saying that the priority deadline applicants would hear throughout the day tomorrow, 8/3.

I got accepted! I'm absolutely thrilled. Anyone else hear today? I have so many questions!
