GWCC/UOPX concurrent program spring 13

I thought I would start a thread for everyone who got into the concurrent enrollment program through Gateway and University of Phoenix starting in the spring of 2013. Thought it would be a good place to get to know each other and post updates/questions as well. Looking so forward to it!!

Hey!! I will actually be applying for Fall 2013! I was wondering if you could help me out a little. Like what was your GPA for the required courses to get accepted... im at a 3.2 but do not know if that is good enough to get me accepted, what do you think??

I will be starting the CEP program with gateway/U of P in the fall of 2013. Any suggestions or advice with the workload and classes? I am a little concerned about the U of P classes being 5 weeks. Are you in the day program with gateway?

Hey! Yeah I'm currently in the day program. We were a late start for block 1 cuz we has the u of phx class start in January and then started block 1 mid February. So I have my last clinical on Wednesday actually and my pharmacology final on Tuesday. I will also be starting the UofP/GWCC CEP in the summer/fall 2013 as well! UofP has been doing these accelerated shorter classes for years and have worked out many issues. I think you may find them to be nice as you usually only do one class at a time since they are shorter, you do them back-to-back. :)

I too am curious what the actual nursing program schedule is like once we start at GWCC in August for the first block (i.g. how many days, hours, ect.). Any information would be greatly appreciated!
