What compression sock brand would you recommend? Stethoscope?

I can't help you with compression socks, hate the things and never wear them. I just can't start my my day fighting with my clothes.

Stethoscopes are an easy call though, Littman all the way. Even the basic ones are pretty decent and the better ones are better than than anything else on the market. I use the cardiology 4 and it suits me perfectly. Reasonably lightweight around the neck and great acoustics. I personally don't see the need for spending the money on the electronic version but I can see that being worth the expense for some work settings or possibly a nurse that just can't hear as well as needed with a standard stethoscope
