GRE Question

Hello! I'm taking the GRE for my first time next week. I'm wondering how long it takes to get the scores back? And how long does it take for the schools to get them? Also- I know you can add the school codes at the test center for your scores to be sent... But do you get to see your scores before choosing where to send them? I don't want to send them if they end up being horrible. :) Any tips for the "big day"?! Thanks!!

    How did you do on your gre....I'm studying to take mine in January...this will be my third time taking it.

    I didn't do so well (verbal 157, quant 149, writing 4.5)....far from what I had hoped to achieve! But for barely having studied- not too bad! They were good enough to get me into a program I wanted. I'm actually now 6 weeks into the program!
