Grayson County College ADN Fall 2015

Well, it's time for another application process. I don't know about y'all but I am ready to start this program! I have been reading these threads and boards for what feels like years trying to do all that I can to get in!! And I have finally reached that time.

I just turned in my application. I hope some of y'all are out there reading this. I would like to know who all is applying this year. I just wish it wouldn't take until JULY to find out if we make it in or not!! I understand why but dang! I don't want to commit to something else and then look like a flake 'when' I get my yes from Grayson! :nailbiting:

I just wanted to know where you stood on the points line and how many times you've applied OR if you are currently in the program what kind of advice you can lend and give.

    I am turning in my application tomorrow! This is my first time to apply to the program.

    I don't want it to sound like I am confident OR conceited! Because I am not. What I hope came across up there was I basically applied everywhere and I really want to go to Grayson. I'm afraid that some other programs that are NOT nursing will send out acceptance letters and I will say yes because I will be scared of what will happen with Grayson outcome and then IF I get a yes, I will have to turn around and decline.

    I understand what you mean. I am sure schools know that other things come up and people have to give up spots they previously accepted. I don't think anyone would hold it against you if you have to give up something to attend Grayson.

    Hello! This is my first time applying to Grayson's nursing program. I submitted my application 2 hours ago! haha. I'm also applying to 3 other programs, so I've been running around trying to get the documents ready. I only have 25 points. Not sure what the cut off for the points and GPA are, but hopefully I make! What about everyone else?

    C.WIN - I heard that 25 points got in last Fall so fingers crossed!! I only applied to Grayson for this Fall and have 28 points.

    My first choice is TWU. I've also applied for Collin. I was planning on applying for El Centro too..... But they're closed now. Even thought the deadline is tomorrow, I don't think the school will be open. I'll have to give them a call tomorrow. I really hope I didn't miss my chance by a few hours :(. Is Grayson the only school you applied to?

    Good luck! I hope they're open tomorrow so you don't miss the deadline. Yes, I only applied to Grayson. I thought about applying to NCTC and Collin; NCTC is too far and I don't have many points at Collin. So I'm praying I get accepted at Grayson. Just wish we didn't have to wait soooooooo long!

    You and me both. The PSB kicked my a$$ haha. I haven't received my score yet, but I know I did horrible!! I wish Grayson wasn't so far.
