Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

I am working as an lpn in a military clinic ( civilian). I have soon found that the enviroment is almost hostile. The nurse that trained me (or started to) i am almost certain told the boss no more and she rarely speaks to me. So i went with another and did really well, but the other nurses are just as tight as ever, eating together while I eat and work on my RN homework. The RN that is the head of my team had the others in her office working on gettting new charting and LEFT ME OUT!!! She even had the nerve to call me out of a meeting with a doctor and the computer guru even thought the doc said I neeeded to stay there.

I hate office politics , its probably stems from when I was in school if I said anything wrong in class I was yelled at by the other students and when I was in a social situation with my mom and said something wrong she yelled at me no matter who was there, even my other family.

HELP!:banghead:

If your job prospects are not great, and the benefits and pay for working there are good, you might want to ride it out until things get better. As for the others not accepting you, give it some time. Unless you are being attacked directly, just stay off to the side and do your job. It should be unbearable before you decide to look for a job elsewhere.
