Grand Canyon BSN program

I am about to start up my RN-BSN prgram at GCU Nov 11, 2014. I live overseas in Okinawa Japan for military and I am wondering how people did completing their program online. I have never done online schooling before. So I am definitly a little nervous. I understand that the classes are 5 weeks and there are 12 total. Making a total of 36 credits. It says for the program I need a total of 120 credits. Do you need to choose your own elective classes for the remainder of 84 credits or do they autimatically select them for you. Any advice would be so great. Along with experiences people had with taking this course online. Thanks!
