Grammer

Totally frustrated & broken hatred :( Dreamt about applying for ADN this spring ,but missed it. Couldn't get the passing score of 75% in Grammer :( Now, have to wait for fall enrollment. I am an international student & English isn't my first language , so it is very hard for me to score good in Grammer & Reading. I did pretty good in math & A&P and passed Reading with passing score but got 72% only in Grammer :(Any suggestions will be appreciated :)

thanks!!

Hi!

thank you for the quick response loriangel14 :) You are right I am talking about grammar. How do I hire a tutor ? Actually I got a bunch of basic grammar book from library and thinking of going through it. Hope this will help me. I really want to start my nursing school but the grammar is my big downfall :)

Thank you so much for your kind words :) I have hard time figuring out the incorrect thing in the grammar test :( let's hope for the best ; I still have one for chance for my Hesi test :) thank you again loriangel14 :)

I also have english as a second language, and I just took the test. I mean grammar was not that bad, basic grammar rules: subject and verb agreement, euphemism, cliches, words like farther and further, bring versus take... you can go on quizlet.com for most of the rules.

Hey!

Agarnarak, for reading I just used the elsvier Hesi practice book and couple of books form library . Reading passages are simple but some of the questions are really confusing. Take your time to read the passage and u'll be fine. Best of luck!!
