My interview at Grady was very informal because I was friends with the manager so I don't know any other pointers to give you other than bring a copy of your resume so the manager you interview with can see it, be positive and professional and if you are asked any "what would you do?" type of questions always advocate for the patient! As far as the RN Residency goes, it is a two year contract and you will have 4-5 classes with residents from other areas on subjects like IV therapy, EKG interpretation, cultural awareness, etc. I do not know how long the orientation for med/surg is--it was 6 months for the ER but that is a speciality area. If you are interested in the program talk to the nurse recruiter at Grady.
