i would suggest that you don't come to hawaii to find a job. it is quite difficult to find a job here. there are new grads who don't find a job here in hawaii and end up moving to he mainland.

but if you want to still come to hawaii, the requirments for the hawaii rn license is similar to everywhere else.

they require your basic information, ss#, offical school transcripts. the state of hawaii board of nursing will then send you a packet to inform you if you qualify. then you sign up to take the nclex online.

I keep reading that it is difficult to find a job. Unfortunately, my bf was sent to Hawaii for his job and he wants me to move there with him. Any other pointers anyone can offer?

I'm graduating in a year, but was recently talking to a new grad. She basically said, if you get an offer, accept it. Don't wait for something that you have your heart set on. You can either transfer within and get the job you want once you have experience. The problem I hear is that though there are "potential" positions, managers can't hire that many new grads because of budgeting problems.
