2013 Grads!

I'm very anxious and excited about graduating next month I have to still pass my exit hesi and continue prepping for boards...BUT time flew by so fast oh my someone pinch me!! Older nurses have told me it's normal to feel like you don't know enough but still the feeling is very much intimidating and overwhelming at times. I'm just 21 years old and a lot of people in the hospital say I look like a 13 year old (blessing and curse) I hope this won't be an issue with my future patients or coworkers! Early Congrats to all of the 2013 grads hang in there guys and good luck on exit hesi's and state boards :)

I graduate in May and yes I feel the same way! And although Im about to be 29, most people think I am in my 20's and too young lol.

It's very scary, but that's the good thing. I was speaking with another student and he said it perfectly. You don't want to be that arrogant nurse thinking you know everything(they kill patients). You should be terrified..completely normal!

I graduate in June! I am 21, will be 22 when I graduate. I thought I would have problems with patients making comments about my age, but so far so good. I think if you show confidence in your skills and don't allow them to question your judgement skills they won't question your age! LOL
