Hi all,
I am wanting to apply to an RN program once I move back to the states. My freshman year of college in 2011 I failed classes in the spring semester because I had an unexpected pregnancy among other issues that go along with that I moved back home. Now the classes are F's. Every school I have looked at asks for all transcripts of schools attended and must be GPA of at lease 2.75. Well mine is not. Please help me. What do I do? Do I kiss my dreams goodbye?

I would suggest going to a community college for two years to take your basic nursing courses - Anatomy, Chem, Bio, Math etc. Then I would transfer to a University using the transcript from your community college. This will be cheaper and you have a chance to do well in all of your basic courses!

I really do believe that people can change and that there is often a story behind students who failed. If you want a second chance, your best best is community college. Take the classes you failed over again and then you can either enter a nursing program there (if it's offered) or apply to other schools with your improved GPA.
Thank you both for your help. I hope that it is possible for me to do this and in a timely manner.

I was in the exact same boat as you. I finshed classes at a CC for prereqs and then transferred into a nursing program at a university. It can be done. Good luck!
Thank you so much. I have hope again. I was so worried. :)
