GPA Breakdown?

I have read on numerous sites and also spoken directly with some CRNA schools who've all said that 3.5-3.7 is the target gpa for getting into CRNA school. I graduated ADN with a 3.69 and am pursuing BSN now with hope of raising that a bit more. I'm also retaking some chem classes that I got Cs in about 20 years ago to bring that up.

However, I started looking at the BSN breakdown for my grades in current school and they sectioned it out differently than I've seen anyone else section it out and my straight nursing classes alone from the ADN program are currently at 3.14 with 29 pending credits (NUR) for BSN.

It struck me how low that seemed. Now I'm concerned. Which classes and what GPA actually counts for getting into CRNA school? Do they only look at the ADN nursing classes (skipping BSN classes) because ADN classes are paired with clinicals? Do they consider your gen ed classes with your nursing classes and THAT's the GPA they look at? Do they only look at nursing classes and your hard core science classes?

I'm starting to panic now. I thought I was doing well and on track to make a smooth transition (academic standards only) into CRNA school.

It all depends on the program. Some look at only your latest degree (BSN), others only look at your science GPA, and others look at your total cumulative GPA. Your GPA should be ok especially after you complete your BSN if you continue to make A's and a few B's.
