Got stopped at 85 on 3rd attempt.

I just took my 3rd attempt and stopped at 85. I'm so nervous, since this hasn't happened before. I studied a lot except for a couple days before. I felt just fine and had no test anxiety. Anyone been through this too? Advice?

Everyone who has a nursing license has been through this too. It's the system.

If you took the PN exam you got the minimum number of questions which means you either aced it or bombed it. If you took the RN exam it doesn't mean much, because that minimum is 75 questions.

Hopefully you aced it! Wait for your results and good luck!

I didn't pass again!!!

ouch, sorry. When you get your Candidate Performance Report, take a good look at it so you can better form a study plan. You're obviously missing something very key to be shut off at the minimum number of questions. From what I can gather it would most likely indicate your knowledge base isn't good, you haven't been able to show the computer that you can get into the higher-level critical thinking questions. You're stuck with not understanding the content still.

Did you do practice exams that had very different results than your actual exams? Or did you get low marks on those practice tests?
