going CRAZY!!

I just had a job interview on Friday. It was with 3 managers and HR. I felt tlike the interview went very well. HR said I should hear back by Monday and if I don't to give her a call. I sent out my thank you emails on Friday and yesterday (sunday) got a response form one of the managers that said "our pleasure. good luck wih everything." so now I'm freaking out because I am totally over analyzing the email. Do they usually write back? Does that sound like a "good luck finding a job somewhere else" response? I'm scared to call them today to follow up!!

    Take a deep breath and try to relax. There is no way to know what the email means- and it most likely was just a cursory reply and means absolutely nothing specific. They aren't going to be meeting together and making employment decisions on a Sunday.

    Get out of the house today and go do something. Go shopping, take yourself to lunch, go see a movie, go to the park- do something besides sitting next to the phone and worrying all day. They said you should hear today, so don't call today. Call tomorrow if they don't call you.

    I interview for a med/surg position (paneled interview) over 1 month ago.

    I stayed in touch with the Nurse Manager , Assistant NM.

    They stated the interview went excellent and that I got the job but HR is not calling me.

    They called me on Friday :( I didn't get the position...i really wanted it and was super bummed for a few days but i guess everything happens for a reason! Good luck to you! :)
