about getting into 4 years college

How can I get into 4 years college( I mean have a BA degree) if i want to

be a RN? Do I need to take pre-nursing courses just like ADN or take 2

years associate degree in CC (it's not a ADN-BSN program) and then

transfer to the third year of 4 years college or others?

And other question is if i take pre-nursing courses which for ADN,so what

Pre-Reqs do you guys suggest to take? For example, Bio 100? Bio 241?.....

It's seem like really hard to get 3.5 Gpa or above in pre-nursing(ADN)

cause to me 3.0 is very good !

thanks for replying and sharing!

The best way to find out all of this information is to contact the nursing advisors at the school that you're interested in attending. They can tell you about policies and procedures, admission requirements, application deadlines, etc.

As Eric wrote, each school has its own policies, procedures, and requirements. Some schools accept students into their nursing programs as freshmen: others require that the students take certain pre-requisite courses for 2 years and then apply to the nursing proram as juniors. And there are all kinds of variations on those general themes.

You'll have to contact the schools that interest you and find out their specific requirements.

Good luck,
