Getting close.

Next week is the interview/open house week for prospective MSN students at Duke for Spring 2016. I think my chances are good. The clinical degrees are much harder to get a slot for. I have applied for Informatics. Anyone going for any other program there?

    I think I'm going to apply for Fall 2016 for the Pediatric NP program. Vanderbilt is my first choice, but I feel like I need a few backups. The GRE is what really worries me and I can waive that at Duke. I also don't want to have to find my own preceptors. I haven't figured out how that works yet with out-of-state students at Duke. When is the Open House?

    This is the invitation only keep-everyone-busy-while-they-wait-for-their-interview kind of thing. I forget that people come from out of town. I work there so I was going to just go for interview, but they have tours and a financial aid session. I'll go hang out for most of the day.

    I already have a masters so I didn't have to take GRE either (thank goodness!!)

    I have no idea how the clinical programs work
