guys please any help?

I just got my perm ca lic, but I had sent prints in and they sent to FBI. I am not positive, but I am pretty sure if you want livescans, you must do it in thestate of CA. Their board is very helpful and friendly. Give them a call. Good Luck!

I did the same thing last year about this time. I went from Texas to getting my CA license and because I was not in the state of CA, I had to do paper prints, send them in, and then they were sent to the FBI. Hence, the licensing process took a full 6 weeks. :/ It would be so nice if the livescans would go state-to-state!

Yes, livescan has to be done in the state of California, so you should do it there if you can because it's much faster. Otherwise, you need to do the fingerprint card and takes longer. Good luck!
