hello, I got accepted for the May 2014 full time cohort. I have not started yet so i can not tell you how the classes are, i have heard good and bad, but isnt that how everything in life is, depends on the perspective. My GPA is a 3.71 from UT El Paso, I have heard more positive than negative, and Georgetown is a very prestigious University, so give it a try = ) Good luck!
Hi JulianaRN,
I put my application in for September cohort and it was complete and sent for review on March 12. The admission counselor told me they were finishing the May applications so I am still waiting.
I am checking my email every hour and driving myself crazy! How long did it take for you to get a response?
Hello! My science GPA is 3.94, and my overall is 3.71. I have no experience as a nurse, but i was a phlebotomist for 4 years before joining the Army, so some medical background. I got out of the Army, started school, graduated and then had to move, so no job yet, and i do not think i will work, unless i find some PRN job, so fingers crossed.
Good luck! Let us know how it goes!

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here is currently enrolled or has been accepted to Georgetown's FNP program? I finally completed my application and am getting ready to submit now. Although a nervous wreck, I am eager to get this part over with as I have been working on this application for over a month.
I am finishing my BSN now and will be done in August 2014 and am applying to September cohort.
If you are enrolled or have been accepted, what was your GPA? Also how are the classes? I have heard some people that were not happy and transferred out. I wonder if this is because of how challenging the program is.
Any input or comments would be great.
