Ok, so I'm 26 years old, and I have been an RN (ASN) for about 1 1/2 years. I also have a BA in Psychology. I've worked in the ICU for about a year and I want to start traveling nursing. I also want to go back to school and get my MSN. Right now, I don't know what the best decision is and I'm conflicted about my career choice. Should I travel or go back to school first?? Some people say go back to school because its harder to go back once you have settled down. Others say travel, since I'm young and go to school later. Any advice from my fellow nurses would be amazing!!!!
Thanks
Tracy!!

Can you do both? I am taking online RNBSN courses at IWU. I know a couple of my classmates travel and take one course at a time as well. Just a thought.
I lean towards school now travel later, but I can see it both ways. My opinion, it depends on what you want in life. Kids, family, settle-down then travel now. Unknown then you could go either way.
Thanks RLandRN, I appreciate your input. I do want to have a family and kids but I'm not at that point in my life yet. I will definitely look into traveling and taking courses at the same time. If I go to school now, I'm not sure how many agencies have traveling NPs. Guess I need to look into that as well. Thanks!!!
