FSCJ Nursing

Good evening!

I am returning to college after several years as a high school mathematics teacher. I need to take Chem, AP1, AP2, & Micro. I am seeing that they want these prereqs completed by the time you apply, but the deadline to apply for fall is only in April. I am planning on taking that last prereq of AP2 in the summer. Does this mean I would have to take the fall off & apply to the actual nursing program for the spring?

Also, when would you suggest taking the HESIA2? After AP1 or wait until after AP2?

Just for suggestions, here is my plan:

Summer: Get BLS/CPR certified

Fall: Chem & Basic Bio (refresher)

Spring: AP1 & Human Growth & Development

Summer: AP2 & Micro

Fall: Either starting NUR classes, or needing to take a semester off for application.
