Frustration

Hey all,

I am a first semester nursing student, and recently took a career assessment exam out of my own curiosity. I answered a number of questions, and it gave me my personality type and careers that fall under it. Well I just find out that nursing is one of my LEAST favorable professions for me to become. I am worried now in continuing with nursing, as this test is telling me that I may be miserable with my career decision later on. What do you all think?

Mine also said I should be a surgeon... but I would never put myself through MD school...There are several personality types that can be an RN and several different roles RN's do other than working in a hospital at the bedside. You should research differnt jobs RN's can do and see if they match up with your personality. I am not too good at small talk and can get awkward with new people so I plan on becoming a CRNA.

That last sentence made me giggle. :lol2: You are gonna put the patient to sleep. Sounds like a good plan.
