So, I had my first test for med surg today, went in feeling confident, felt very confident taking the test... after the test still felt very confident, we all stood around rehashing questions, we all got the same answers, cool, I had this I was so excited!
Got my result a bit ago, 76%!!! 76?? How did feeling that confident translate into a C, a barely passing the test C?? I cant review the test until next Friday (the 13th), so I have to wait a week to find out what the heck went wrong.
Now I am sad and frustrated, I passed last semester with all A's, and now am starting off with a C... ugh this sucks! (Ironically though the test I felt very unprepared for Pharm, I got a A on... not sure whats going on here lol).
Sorry I just needed to vent!

It stinks when you feel so confident about an exam and then get a grade like that, but don't beat yourself up over it. I had the same thing happen to me last spring in Med Surg. I chalk it up to learning where the professor test from and first test anxiety. Second test for me was better but not where I wanted to be. Then came the third test and I killed it and got a 100. Once I stopped stressing over exams my grades went up drastically.
