Fresno State Fall 2023

I got an email back from admissions. They said they are going to wait for the initial 60 to accept/deny their admission, and then continue to filter through the applicants. So they said we should email back at the very end of April to find out what position we are on the alternate list. Hope this helps! 

also put on alternate list but the next day I was notified that my major was changed to my alternate. did anyone else get their major changed unrequested? prob gonna ask admissions if that means I'm off the alternate list

This is just until/if we are taken off the alternate list. Since they cannot admit us to the school under "nursing", they admit us under our backup major until we hear back from the program. It should change if we are selected off the alternate list.

Update: I received an email from admissions that I was admitted into the program and I have until the 14th to accept or deny my admission! I was on the alternate list but never received an email telling me what position I got. I just got the acceptance email today which was weird LOL. :D

Hi guys, when you got waitlisted did you receive an email or was it on our Fresno state homepage? My home page status updated and it says "

Your application to Fresno State has not been selected for admission. You will receive a communication with further information."

I think I was flat-out rejected LOL could I possibly be put on the alternate list later on? I haven't received any emails yet.

A little late but I was also accepted into the program. However, I will be declining the offer and attending another program.

hello! congrats on your admission!! I am still on the alternate list. did they say when we should email them about our position? I'm not sure if I should email them now to know my chances of getting into the school, or if I should wait for them to filter more applicants.

Hi, we can start emailing them already. I emailed them on April 12th and got my alternate list number on the 13th. I would say to just include your student ID number in the email though just in case they need it to identify where you are.
