CM software is not cheap or free. Thus, I do not know how you will learn any of it prior to working unless you choose to take courses online through the companies that develop the software, which are also not cheap or free. If your company knows that you are a new CM, they know to expect you to have a learning curve so do not worry.
Thankyou for your help, you're likely correct!

Imperial, I agree with MBARNBSN. I worked for a MCO or insurance company who trained me on their software when I worked in their CM department. This was before I got my first PC years ago. There was a pretty big learning curve, but once I got comfortable with it, I was fine. I learned both the windows and dos-based system. Now I also work with a web-based system. I'm not proficient with computers but I seem to catch on easily with training as long as it is hands on. Best wishes.
