FORSYTH TECH Spring 2015

Has anyone applied or going to apply to the spring 2015 semester at Forsyth Tech? What do everyone's scores look like? I have a 159.3 and I just want to get an idea of how competitive that is. I am debating retaking my teas but I don't want to if I don't have to.

Does anybody know when the first day of classes are and what time we're supposed to be there?

The yellow sheet they gave us says 1st day of class all students 8:30 oak grove auditorium. Then at 1:00 we go to BGH room 139. Hope that helps!

Congrats everyone! I just graduated from the Forsyth Tech ADN program. I remember being as excited as you are right now!!! Good luck!

Kay51, was your nursing school experience at FTCC a positive one? The reason I'm asking is this: I received my acceptance letter from DCCC (Davidson County Community College) yesterday, and I'm currently waiting to receive a response from FTCC. If given the choice, I'm not sure which college to choose. Both have high NCLEX pass rates and both are within equal driving distance. I'm desperately seeking guidance and directive.

Just know this: DCCC uses problem based learning, very few lectures. (If you dont know what PBL is then google it and you will find some info). If you can learn that way then go for DCCC. Forsyth tech has lectures.

Hi Kay51, I am first semester ADN at FTCC and I am not having the best experience. I am thinking of either going to another school or abandoning nursing completely. I would to hear more about your experience at FTCC. I am considering DCCC, GTCC, and UNCG if I decide to pursue a degree in nursing.
