Forsyth Tech 2017 Practical Nursing Program

Mine also just says "general occupation- practical nursing"! I check mine daily too, lol! At first, I didn't let myself think about the letters being mailed out, and now, 3 weeks have passed and I am SO impatient. My friend, Lealansmom on here, called today and the lady said the same thing, that the letters have not been mailed yet... The LPN-RN letters were mailed out the first of the week. Does anyone know if the RN letters have been mailed out? Hopefully not much longer!

Sorry, mine has always said the gen occ. pract. thing. Thats like "pre lpn" program, Im waiting to see "gen occ" part fall off hahaha

Hey yall ! I just seen on another post (from the RN program feed) that their profiles have changed from the "Gen occ- nursing to Associate degree nursing yesterday and that one girl emailed Forsyth Tech about the letters, and she was told everything should be mailed out next week and hopefully received by Thursday !!! So, maybe ours will change soon? The LPN must be the last one they go through !

Mine still says gen occ practical nursing! I'm so impatient! I hope we all get in!! I had 113 points and applied for the Stokes! Last years techlink changed on March 19th and they recieved their letters on March 24th! I can't wait!!

I will be stalking techlink and my mail box everyday next week lol!

Hopefully ours will change to Practical Nursing soon. Im about to have an MI waiting to hear something. Mine as of 2 minutes ago hadn't changed. Hopefully it will be this week sometime. Maybe by Monday we will notice a change in our techlink profiles and then we will get letters. I've also heard they send rejection letter before the acceptance letters but i dont know how true that is.... Best wishes for all of us!! Hopefully i wont have that MI before we find out!!

So... I hate the new tech link. When you log onto tech link, i click my "forsyth tech link", where do i look from there?? I cant see my academic profile on web advisor anymore. I would log into my forsyth tech link and look under my progess to check for the program change. Is this correct or am i looking in the wrong place???

Has anyone heard or seen any changes yet? I have jury duty tomorrow and wont be able to check my mail all day lol its going to kill me!!!

I haven't yet! My techlink hasn't changed yet either!

ok. Just checking. Every time I call and check on the status of the letters they act like its top secret and they wont give any details out. I ask if they've been mailed and I get the same response, "They could take up to 4-6 weeks, as it tells you that in the lpn information packet you've already read." My tech link hasn't changed either. I heard a lot of schools are sending theirs out this week though so hopefully we will be getting them soon too!!!
