Forsyth Tech ADN Fall 2018

Just wanted to post a topic for all of anyone applying this Spring for the Fall 2018 nursing program at Forsyth Tech. I haven't done my MAR review yet, I'm planning to do that as soon as this semester begins. I just wanted to see who was applying and where you guys stood.

    No I haven't gotten my physical done yet, I was thinking of calling soon though because I saw the deadline for last year was June 1st for copies of your immunizations records, physical form and cpr, I saw this on the forsyth tech nursing facebook page so I'm thinking it's probably the same as last year. That doesn't seem like a whole lot of time. I was thinking of going to my regular doctor (but sometimes they're booked up a few months in advance) so maybe the minute clinic at cvs because they list that they do physicals for schools with pricing on their website.

    So we don't have to have all of that done by the orientation date? I was getting worried because I thought hats what the paper said but maybe it was saying to just bring it. Since insurance doesn't cover physicals I was just going to go to like a fast med or a minuet clinic but I wasn't sure if it was better to go to primary doctor or not because when I called my Doctor it would be a couple of hundred dollars to get a physical all of my shots and stuff are up to date expect my flu shot
