Forgive me.. another question!

Sorry to be such a pain in the butt, you all are just such a great resource. I'd just like to know how many courses are feasible to take @ a time? (pre-req's). I'm not use to enrolling just to take single courses.. I've always been in some kind of degree program completely laid out for me, LOL! The community college I'm enrolling in to complete my pre-req's does 5 8 week terms a year. I'll only be here for 4 of them though, and if possible really need to complete all of my pre-req's in that time.

Since it is such a short term I would think the classes would be longer and harder, so I probably would just take 2 or 3 at a time. Like take A and P I, psychology I, and chem I in one term and the IIs the next term, as an example. Oh, and it also depends on how much time you have. If you have a job also, or kids with not much help, maybe only take one at a time. If you don't have to worry about all that you probably can take the max allowed and do OK.

Thanks Criss. The classes are all 8 weeks long. I don't have a job, but I do have 2 kids @ home (4, and 18 months). The only classes I will take at the site are A & P I&II, and micro. Luckily they are from 8-10:30 p.m. So hubby will be at home with the kids. The rest of the classes I can take online through my community college

Best thing is only one class that needs a lab (such as chem, micro or A&P)... then you can 'relax' with a course thats not so stressing.. such as a math, english or other pre-req class... I know I loved just taking another class to take my mind off the hard core science ones.. I took English Lit when going thru A&P, and it really helped me focus :) Whats more relaxing than reading a book... he he...
