Forensic Nursing

I am currently a student in the Spalding University Nursing program. Many of our instructors ask what fields we are interested in going in to. Many of the students know exactly what they want to do. I on the other hand don't. I know I definitely don't want to go into geriatrics. I was browsing the net and came across Forensic Nursing. I have always told myself if I wasn't interested in Nursing I would want to be a forensic scientist. The description I read about forensic nursing sounds interesting to me. Can any one give me some more information on Forensic Nursing and if there are any schools in or near KY? :typing

DD- the only forensically trained nurses I've known in KY work as SANE nurses. Have you considered that area of nursing?
