Foreign student looking to interview RN

hello everyone,

i am a foreign nursing student in the u.s. right now. i moved to the u.s. about a year ago. i decided to back to school because my carrier that i had in my country is not useful in this country. i would like to work in a healthcare profession. i admire older adults because i've learned a lot from them, and i think elderly care is an important field.

i have to interview with a rn involved in the health care for my nursing class assignment. because i just moved to the u.s., i do not know anybody who is rn. i am really appreciated if someone answers the following questions. if you do not feel comfortable to answer some questions, please say so.

please forgive me my poor writing skill :crying2:

thanks you,

nobi

1. what is your educational background?

2. how long have you been a rn?

if you have, why did you choose to have the additional certifications?

how the additional certifications are valuable?

4. could you describe your work and position?

5. could you describe a typical workday?

6. how to interact with a client?

how to manage multiple clients?

how do you thik about the professional nursing?

7. there are mandatory overtime or a shortage of rn issues. what do you feel about these trends?

8. what drew to nursing?

9. what do you think about a nurse being caring and compassionate?

what type of ethical issues do you encounter in your practice?

10. what is different your practice from that of lvn/lpn?

11. does your agency rewarded for continuing education or committee work?

12. what advice would you give someone who is considering a career in nursing?
