Hello
I am an RN in India and will be migrating to US on permanent visa. I would like to get NJ RN license but I am not able to get any information on the rules. I want to take NCLEX exam asap in India, but I was told that NJ has a rule that the person must take the exam in NJ only. Can someone please tell me what are the exact rules to the NJ process? I would greatly appreciate your response as I have not been able to get a hold of someone in NJ Board of Nursing office in Newark, NJ

You can find the requirements for foreign nursing program graduates here : www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/nursing/fornurse_app.pdf . I didn't find what you mentioned here. I know that it's your choice where to take the exam.
