Following up from interview

I would like to email the NM that I interviewed with to see if she has made a decision on a candidate. However, I am unsure what to include in the email. Can someone help me please?

I wouldnt email and ask "have you made a decision?" You should email or better write a letter saying thank you for the interview and remind them of key points you talked about in your interview to show your interest. I would check the job posting page and see if the job is still there to see if a decision has been made and you just dont know it yet.

A long long time ago, I had applied for a manager's job. I hadn't heard anything for a while. Back then I was not as assertive as I am now, so I didn't say or do anything. My young son, however, said what he wanted at all times. The man who interviewed me called my house and asked to speak to me. My son, who was about 9, said "Sure....are you gonna give my mom that job, or what??" I got the job.

Send a thank you note and let them know you are really interested in the job.
